“I always thought someone should do something about that.
Then I realized I am that someone.”
- Lily Tomlin

What does it mean to foster a dog? Essentially, you take the dog into your home. You provide shelter, love, and basic obedience training. In turn, Lexington Pit Crew provides food, a crate, and any vetting necessary throughout the time the dog is with you. Fostering is committing to care for the dog until a forever home is found. Lexington Pit Crew will continue to network the dog and share his or her story until the perfect home can be found.  The length of fostering time varies from case to case. It could be as little as a week to as long as 6 months or more.

Are you ready?
